Terms of Service

AgriStock is a technology platform that helps users view agricultural commodity information, allocate funds toward commodity-linked positions, track portfolio value, and request withdrawals. AgriStock is not a bank. Wallet balances represent Platform ledger balances, not a deposit account with deposit insurance unless separately disclosed.

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in Nigeria.
• You must provide accurate registration and KYC information.
• We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that fail verification or violate these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your password and devices secure, and for all activity under your account. Enable available security features and notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access at support@agristock.app.

To invest or withdraw, you may be required to complete identity verification (including BVN/NIN). We may hold, delay, or reverse transactions while verification or fraud checks are pending. Providing false information is grounds for immediate suspension and may be reported to authorities.

• Deposits are processed by Paystack (or another licensed payment processor we designate).
• Your wallet is credited only after successful payment verification (webhook and/or verify API).
• By clicking Pay / Fund wallet, you authorize the charge and confirm you have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• Failed, cancelled, or disputed payments may not credit your wallet.

• Commodity prices, availability, and projected returns can change. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
• Agricultural and market risks include price volatility, supply shocks, logistics, weather, and operational delays.
• An investment is confirmed only when the Platform records an active position after successful debit of wallet balance (and any required payment confirmation).
• AgriStock does not provide personalized investment advice unless expressly stated in a separate agreement.

• Withdrawals are subject to minimum amounts, fees (if any), and available balance.
• You must provide accurate bank account details that match your verified identity.
• Processing times depend on banking rails and manual review. We may delay payouts for compliance or fraud checks.
• Pending withdrawals may be cancelled only while still in a cancellable status.

Applicable fees (for example withdrawal fees) are shown in the product UI before you confirm. Payment-processor fees may apply according to Paystack's terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or illegal activity
• Attempt to bypass security, scrape, or disrupt the service
• Impersonate others or misuse another person's identity documents
• Manipulate markets or submit abusive automated traffic

AgriStock branding, UI, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgriStock and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to AgriStock in the three (3) months before the claim (or ₦10,000 if greater where required by mandatory law), excluding amounts held in your wallet ledger that remain owing to you.

You agree to indemnify AgriStock against claims arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for risk, legal, or Terms violations. You may close your account by contacting support, subject to settling open positions and compliance holds.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be attempted in good faith; unresolved disputes may be brought before competent courts in Nigeria (or such venue as mandatory law requires).

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes affecting deposits or investments will be highlighted in-app where practical.
